Maple Poor Man's Pudding Kit – Serves 2 to 3 people. The kit contains:
- 1 packet of maple syrup
- 1 packet of cake batter
- 1 extra sachet of coulis (for serving)
- Take the pouches out of the fridge and leave them at room temperature for 1 to 2 hours.
- Preheat oven to 375-400 °F (190-205 °C).
- Pour the coulis into the provided aluminum container.
- Place the dough on top (do not mix).
- Place a small bowl of lukewarm water next to it in the oven.
- Bake for 20 minutes.
- Turn the container 180 degrees and continue for 10 minutes (approximately 35 minutes total).
- Insert a toothpick into the center: if it comes out clean, it's ready.
